Acrobatic goalkeeper Florence Benon Watmon is reportedly in advanced negotiations with FUFA Big League side Bukedea Town Council.
Benon Watmon who currently features for Mvara Boys in the Regional League has been in talks for a possible transfer to Bukedea amidst attracting interest from other clubs.
ChimpReports further understands that Uganda Premier League team Onduparaka FC alongside Masindi based Dove All Stars and Regional League rivals Pakwach Young Stars are all interested in acquiring the goalkeeper’s services.
Last season, Watmon was instrumental as Mvara Boys eliminated Jinja based giants BUL Football Club in the Stanbic Uganda Cup despite the club’s failure to go beyond the round of 32.
Earlier this year, Watmon agreed terms with Masaz Cup side Kyaggwe Football team prior to the 2020 Airtel Masaza Cup tournament kick-off which has since been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The steward has also previously featured for Buganda Regional League side Lugazi Municipal Council and Friends of Lugazi Soccer Academy.
The 2020/21 FUFA Big League season is set to kickoff on the 29th of October 2020 provided the ban is lifted on Sports activities.
