Goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa has renewed his contract with StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) side Busoga United for another two years.
The development follows Omedwa’s contract expiration with the Eastern giants at the end of the previous season before the club opted for a renewal.
He featured in 16 out of the 25 League matches for Busoga United last season before the premature ending of the season following Covid-19 outbreak.
He joins his former Mbarara City shot stopper, Ali Kimera, who also extended his contract by a year.
Having landed former UPDF FC defender Moses Kamya, Busoga United is reportedly courting former Express and Maroons goalkeeper Ronald Mutebi alongside Lazarus Obelejo.
Last season, Busoga United registered their best performance (finished 4th) since promotion to the top-flight league.
