Youthful goalkeeper Eric Dhaira has completed his move back to FUFA Big League outfit Maroons Football Club.
Dhaira rejoins the Luzira prison custodians for the second time having been at the club during the 2018/19 season.
He spent the entire 2019/2020 season at Katwe United as the club saw relegation at the end of the campaign.
Dhaira who was a transfer target for several UPL clubs including Busoga United and BUL FC, has now moved to Luzira, joining holding midfielder Nelson Mandela and striker Derrick Mudaali as the other off-season signings at club.
Maroons has also extended contracts of Emmanuel Olinga, Solomon Walusimbi, Maxwell Okello, Sydney Chika whilst Isaac Otto, Junior Amanya, Ronald Orombi, Yahya Luti, Chika and Eddy Kapampa.
However, the club has let go of Felix Okot (Kyetume), goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo and striker Steven Mukwala who joined Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club.
FUFA had set 29th October, 2020 as the tentative date for the kickoff of the 2020/21 FUFA Big League campaign.
