North Eastern Regional League entity Gadaffi Football Club has unveiled Paul Mukembo as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mukembo was officially unveiled on Thursday at the club’s main head office in Jinja Town.
He has signed a three year contract with the North Eastern Regional League giants ahead of their promotional playoff duel against Admin Footnall Club.
The new CEO holds vast experience having served in the same capacity at Uganda Premier League outfit Busoga United, Sadolin Paints, and Bugembe Young.
Mukembo could not hide his excitement after landing a new career opportunity extended to him and vowed to deliver to the expectations.
“I’m happy to have joined Gadaffi FC a club I have admired for this long. I’m here to add what was put in place and I promise I will deliver to the expectations,” he said.
The club has made several recruitments in former KCCA, SC Victoria University and Sports Club Villa defender Lawrence Kasadha, Steven Munguchi, Patrick Gonahasa, Godwin Kawaga and defender Fesali Najib.
Gaddafi will take on Admin FC in the North Eastern Regional League playoff and the winner will book a slot in next season’s FUFA Big League.
