Kawempe Muslim remain a force to reckon with in women’s football in Uganda having won the previous four league titles.

The team has continued with their dominance even this season and will want to seal their slot in the playoffs as early as they can.

Kawempe have so far won four of the five games played this season with the other ending in a one all stalemate (against Lady Doves on the opening day of this season).

Ahead of their game against minnows Dynamic SS, the target for Ayub Khalifa’s charges will be to maintain their brilliant start.

Lethal forward struck twice last week in Kawempe’s 4-0 win over Asubo Gafford Ladies to take her tally to six goals and she asserts she want to score more.

“My target this season is to score about 15 goals and I’m happy that the start has been good for me.” She said.

If they win against Dynamic SS, Kawempe Muslim will move to sixteen points in Victoria group with one game to play in the first round (against Ajax Queens).

The other game on Saturday and also in Victoria group will see second placed Lady Doves host Rines SS in Masindi.

The team coached by Oliver Mbekaka have won their last two games both coming on the road against Ajax Queens and Muteesa I Royal University.

However, they are yet to register victory at home and thus, the target on Saturday will be to secure maximum points.

In Elizabeth group, new comers Lango Queens will face fellow new entrants Bugiri Town View who are yet to earn any point.

Bugiri Town View will return to action on Sunday against last season’s runners up Olila High School who lost 3-1 to UCU Lady Cardinals last weekend.

The other game on Sunday will include Isra Academy taking on Kampala Queens. Isra won 1-0 against Uganda Martyrs courtesy of Fauziah Najjemba while Kampala Queens coached by Faridah Bulega defeated Lango Queens 2-0 with Damalie Matama scoring a brace.

Elsewhere, wounded Ajax Queens host Asubo Gafford Ladies in Buddo, Uganda Martyrs take on She Makerere University while She Corporate play Muteesa I Royal University FC.
