Asubo Gafford Ladies 1-1 Lady Doves
Defending champions Kawempe Muslim registered their first win this season after edging past Rines WFC on Sunday.
After drawing 1-1 in their opening game away to Lady Doves in Masindi, Kawempe Muslim returned strong on match day two to secure a 2-0 win against Rines who missed a penalty in the game.
Anita Namata and Crested Cranes captain Tracy Jones Akiror were on target for the four time league champions who moved to second place on four points in Victoria group, two behind surprise leaders Muteesa I Royal University.
In the same group, Asubo Gafford Ladies needed a late equaliser against Lady Doves to pick their first point this season.
After losing 1-0 to She Corporate on match day one, Gafford Ladies looked like they were destined for another loss after Zeddy Lilian, their former player had fired Lady Doves into the lead midway through the second half.
However, deep into stoppage time, Asubo Gafford Ladies who had made several efforts finally salvaged a point with Joan Nabirye scoring the equaliser.
In Elizabeth group, Isra Soccer Academy needed to come from a goal down to avoid an early scare against new comers Bugiri Town View SS.
Quinta Auma gave the visitors an early lead but Isra Soccer Academy were able to secure all three points.
Captain Fauziah Najjemba scored a brace while Shamira Nalujja added the other to guide Isra to their first win this season.
Lango Queens picked their first point in the elite league after frustrating Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga to a one all draw in the game played at IUIU Kabojja campus on Sunday.
Defender Shadia Nankya scored for Uganda Martyrs but Lango Queens rallied back through Irene Alum.
