Kawempe Muslim 2-0 Muteesa I Royal University
Rines WFC 0-1 Asubo Gafford Ladies
Kampala Queens 1-1 Olila High School

Asubo Gafford Ladies picked their first win this season on Sunday after edging past wobbling Rines Women’s Football Club.

After dismal start that saw them get just one point in their opening two games, Gafford put up an improved display to secure a 1-0 hard fought win.

Midfielder Sheebah Zalwango scored the lone goal of the game played at Wakisha Resource Centre in Wakiso district.

The win moves Asubo Gafford Ladies to 6th place on four points in Victoria group.

In the same group, defending champions condemned Muteesa I Royal University to their first loss this season winning the game played at the Valley ground 2-0.

Anita Namata and Juliet Nalukenge scored a goal each to help Kawempe Muslim move top of the table on seven points.

The only game played in Elizabeth group between Kampala Queens and Olila High School ended in a one all draw.

Annet Nakimbugwe put Kampala Queens ahead but Olila equalised through Siporosa Amoding.

Action continues on Monday with Lango Queens hosting UCU Lady Cardinals who won 1-0 against Bugiri Town View SS on Saturday.
