Olila High School 4-1 Isra Academy
Olila High School Women Football Club have been by far the best team in the Fufa Women elite league since the start of the season.
The Soroti based side have proved their worth brushing aside every team in style to end the first round with a perfect record.
On Sunday, Olila put up a scintillating performance to outwit Isra Academy 4-1 in the game played at Olila High School playground.
Despite the visitors taking the lead, Olila did not find any trouble to stage a comeback and eventually get all three points.
Fauziah Najjemba who was the captain of the day for Isra in the absence of Shamirah Nalujja fired home for Isra midway the first half.
However, the lead was short lived with Olila stepping up the gear to score four goals and eventually win the game.
Reigning Female player of the year, Fazilah Ikwaput struck a brace to stretch her lead in the top scorer’s race to 9 goals in seven games.
The other goals came from lanky forward Norah Alupo and creative midfielder Ritah Nabbosa.
The result meant Olila ended the first round on 21 points in seven games thus garnering maximum points in Elizabeth group.
The second round of the league will resume in February next year.
