Futsal League: Equator Out To Bounce Back

Match day six of the breathtaking Futsal Super League will go underway with six games on the card at the International Futsal courts in Mengo.

Much will be at stake when Parakeets play host to the visiting Equator FC in the 7 PM game.

The highly anticipated game will see Equator FC seek to return to winning ways after a recent set back in their last outing.

Equator were utterly humbled by new table leaders Crown FC with an 8-2 humiliating thumping. Hussein Mohamed’s brace seemed not enough on the night.

The defeat was not only the second the club had suffered but it also altered their two game winning streak. Equator had beaten up on Elephants 7-3 and Typhoons 5-4 in their recent games.

The club slipped to sixth on the log with seven points from five games. They have one draw, won two games and as many defeats.

Parakeets on the other hand, will look to return to the summit after missing out on match day five goals galore night.


Parakeets are fourth on the table standings with ten points, accumulated from just four games. The side can go top with victory if other results can go their way.
