Futsal League: Bukenya Bags Hat-trick As Park Storm Summit

Bukenya Joseph Kizza was in a staring role as Park destroyed Aidenal with a 6-1 victory in the Futsal Super League in Mengo.

Bukenya struck thrice before Shafic Mulangira, Iddi Babu and Regan Sekatawa (own goal) went on target in a one sided game. Godfrey Kawuki brought one back for Aidenal.

The forward is now the leading league top scorer with 19 goals after his hat-trick tally.

The victory – sixth from eight games – lifted Park FC to the top of 14 team log with 19 points. The side is just a point above Crown FC in second.

The loss, fourth for Aidenal, sends them to ninth on the log having collected nine points from as many games.

Net busters chart

Parakeets piled more misery on Dream FC with a 2-1 close victory to climb up to fourth – Goals from Ssentongo Arafat and Boris Onegi cancelled out Shahib Kazibwe’s effort.


Maawiya Abdallah scored three as Typhoons mauled Kabowa United 9-2. Yeak Kabowa proved too good for Nomad as they won 7-2.

Zziwa Jimmy, Derrick Mubiru, Titus Ssematimba and Sunday Franco scored a goal each for Bajim to edge Mengo City in a seven goal thriller.
