Crown FC eased past Equator with a big victory in one of the six Futsal Super League games played on Thursday.
Crown recorded an 8-2 win over Equator in a one way avenue show played at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo.
Ssemakula Islam scored four goals, Ahmed Abdfatah scored three and Simon Sekajja scored the other to record the team’s biggest victory of the campaign.
Hussein Mohamed scored a brace but his effort wasn’t all that required to rescue Equator on the night.
Everything that could go right, did for Crown including a goal from their goalkeeper Simon Sekajja.
Equator were completely out played, torn to pieces and their defence that had no Omar Hitimana due to suspension, was penetrated on every time of asking.
The victory sent Crown on top of the log with 12 points from five games. The team has won four The side had beaten up on Yap Stars, Elephants and Kabowa United. The team’s only loss came against Yeak Kabowa (4-2) on matchday four.
Equator slip to sixth on the 14 team log with seven points – the side has won two and lost as many games.
In other results, Park scored ten goals to put Park to the sword and go joint top but with an inferior goal difference.
Bajim FC lost their second game in a row after a poor display against third placed Nomad. Elephants and Aidenal shared spoils in an eight goal thriller.
