Presidential advisor Jennifer Nakangubi alias Full figure has warned of the possibility of quitting the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) after being denied access to the launch of the political party’s manifesto in Munyonyo on Monday afternoon.
“I had an invitation to this ceremony,” said Full Figure, a controversial entertainer-turned-politician.
“Why then did security bounce me?”
She did not show her invitation card to the media.
Full Figure, who previously served as Bobi Wine’s top campaigners, joined NRM after disagreeing with the National Unity Platform leader on her role in People Power structures.
She blamed yesterday’s incident on her “haters who have increased in number due to the praises which President Museveni always showers on me during most of his addresses”
Full Figure said she would love to serve the party and her country as well but has been pushed to the wall by the so called ‘Mafias’.
“I am sick and tired of this harassment. Whenever the President calls me ‘My daughter Full figure’, it hurts many. President Museveni promised me a house and other things which I have never received but due to the love of my party, I have never come out publicly to demand for them like other people,” she emphasised.
“I am going to announce my next step on Tuesday in the press briefing which I will convene at my convenience,” she threatened.
President Museveni has been financially supporting Full Figure to rally support for NRM among the youth living in Kampala suburbs.
“I feel bad seeing my comrades whom I used to work with have already turned against me yet we have the common goals of securing President Museveni’s reelection in 2021,” said Full Figure.
