FUFA Women Elite League Fixtures Released

After drawing teams into two groups a fortnight ago, hospital the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) had released the opening fixtures for the third edition of the women elite league.

The development comes after a playoff match between Uganda Martyr’s High school, Rubaga and St.James, Lira played on Monday to seal the final slot in the Victoria group.

Uganda Martyr’s defeated St.James 5-3 on spot kicks after a goalless stalemate in normal time to win promotion to the elite league.

The league gets underway on November 4th with two fixtures on card. She Makerere who are under the stewardship of Hadijah Namuyanja play host to Olila High women’s team who have been busy in the transfer market including luring coach John Ongodia from She Corporates.

The other game on the opening day will see Ajax Queens playing at home in Bulenga against Eastern Heroes.

Action will continue the following day with Wakiso Hills welcoming Gafford Ladies while She Makerere will play their second game at home against Eastern Heroes.

Defending champions,Kawempe Muslim will kick start their title defence against London Stallions at home(Valley grounds in Kawempe).

Kawempe Muslim are the defending champions and also record champions will all the previous two editions.
