Ajax Queens hopes of reaching the playoffs this season were delt a huge blow after suffering defeat at the hands of Kawempe Muslim.
In the game played on Saturday at the Valley ground, Kawempe Muslim registered a 2-0 win.
Midfielder Asia Nakibuuka netted a brace to make sure Kawempe Muslim sealed the top spot in Victoria group on 26 points while Ajax Queens remained second on 19 points.
Ajax Queens loss was a blessing in disguise for Gafford Ladies who won their game against She Corporate to move just a point behind the former but Gafford have a game in hand with only two fixtures to the end of the season.
Jackie Ogwal and Monica Namwese scored a goal each to help the Kanyanya based side win 2-0 against She Corporate.
The other game in Victoria group between bottom sides Muteesa I Royal University and Western United ended in a goalless draw a result which officially meant Western United got relegated.
In Elizabeth group, UCU Lady Cardinals nicked a hard fought 1-0 win against Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga to brighten their chances of playing in the playoffs.
Crested Cranes skipper Hasifa Nassuna scored the lone goal of the game to spur the University side to victory.
The result meant UCU Lady Cardinals moved to second position on 23 points leapfrogging Uganda Martyrs and Kampala Queens who play tomorrow.
Group leaders Olila High School did not play because Wakiso Hills failed to show up in Soroti. FUFA will make a decision over the matter.
She Makerere in a bid to survive relegation picked a rear win against Isra Academy to move to seven points.
Rebecca Nakasato(brace) and Rachael Ndagire scored for Makerere while Fauziah Najjemba pulled one for Isra Academy.
