Defending champions Vipers Junior team had a disappointing start falling to Onduparaka FC as the 2018/19 FUFA Juniors League got underway on Sunday.

In a repeat of last season’s final, Ondunyiri sought revenge edging past the junior venoms 3-2 in the game played at Green light stadium in Arua.

Jimmy Piiriyo, Salim Abdallah and Taban Wijo scored a goal apiece to guide Onduparaka junior team to victory.

Vipers got their goals through Samuel Ssenyonjo and Yasin Abdul Owane.

In the same group(treble), KCCA Soccer Academy had a walk in the park against Police Armless Brigade outwitting them 8-0 at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

Sadat Anaku orchestrated the damage scoring four of the eight goals to set the pace in race for the top scorers gong which he won in 2016/17 season.

Juma Ibrahim, Innocent Biyika, Jimmy Muber and Nicholas Luzige added a goal each to complete the rout.

New comers Paidha Black Angels stunned URA FC Junior team edging them 1-0 in the game played at Cana playground in Zombo.

Ndejje University and Maroons FC Junior team shared spoils in a game that ended two all.

In hat trick group, Kirinya Jinja SS defeated Bright Stars junior team in their own backyard in Mityana. The Jinja based side nicked a 2-1 win a were the only winners in that group.

SC Villa Jogoo junior team picked a point away against Nyamityobora while BUL FC were held at home by 2016/17 champions Tooro United.

The game between Express FC and Mbarara City junior team is slated for 9th October 2018 at Ssendi grounds.
