Wakiso Giants FC is yet to impress in as far as their performance in the opening two games in the 2018/19 FUFA Big League is concerned.

Two points from as many games leaves many unanswered questions about a team that made marquee signings before the start of the season.

However, head coach Ibrahim Kirya believes the start has been a fair one and he is optimistic that his charges will hit the ground going soon.

” We could have wanted more points than what we have in the first two games but I don’t believe the start has been so poor considering we had to play away from home in those two games.” He said before adding,

” I’m confident the performance and results will change for the better very soon because we have tested the waters and know what exactly is needed.”

The Purple Sharks take on Kataka FC at Bugembe stadium seeking for their first win this season. This will also be their first game at home.

Kataka FC have so far played three games, winning one(against Nebbi Central) and drawing twice against Doves All Stars and Bukedea TC.

In the same group, UPDF FC will host Amuka Bright Stars in Bombo, new comers Light SS who stunned Entebbe FC last week will host Doves All Stars in Amuria while Nebbi Central play wounded Entebbe FC.

In Rwenzori group, Kitara FC who this week parted ways with coach Sam Kawalya will host Kira United in Hoima.

They come into this game after losing 1-0 to rivals Dove FC in the Bunyoro derby.

Ntinda United FC have conceded the most goals this season (6) in just two games. They will try to arrest the poor run as they host Dove FC at Wankulukuku.

Elsewhere, Kabale Sharp take on Water FC while Kansai Plason will be at home against Bumate FC.
