The Wandegeya based Friecca Pharmacy has opened up to its closure by the National Drug Authority, saying they were compliant with the operational requirements.
The pharmacy was closed on Thursday April 19th by NDA following an inspection in which it was found that they were operating without a licence.
NDA said the pharmacy would be opened once they have renewed their licence.
In statement however, Friecca described the closure as unfortunate and said an earlier inspection by the authority had found them fit for operation
“Friecca Pharmacy was duly inspected by the National Drug Authority on December 12th, 2017. It was found fit and renewal of licence was recommended,” they said in teh statement.
Terming the closure as temporary, Friecca said they are committed to continue serving their customers with integrity and professionalism.
