Paul Mutabazi alias Fresh Daddy’s new found music talent has received mixed reactions since its launch last month.
A section of fans and celebrities have given him their blessings while an equally impressive number have continuously expressed their discontentment with his choice of career.
Many accused him of trying to compete with his son Fresh Kid and trying to steal the limelight away from him.
Their negative comments seem to have fallen on deaf ears so far as Fresh Daddy has been performing at different shows.
He, however, over the weekend encountered a new form of resistance; bottles and stones, in what was reminiscent of Bebe Cool’s 2018 bottle incident.
The music newbie was met by flying bottles and stones when he took to the stage to perform his debut single ‘Mazike’ at the ‘Akasiki Tokosa’ show that was held at Aero Beach on Sunday 28.
The defiant singer initially continued with his performance before being persuaded by one of the MCs to leave the stage eventually as the crowd turned more rowdy.
Last year, Bebe Cool was forced to take a short performance hiatus after he was pelted with bottles and stones at the ‘Swangz All Star Concert’ that took place at Cricket Oval, Lugogo.
Fans were angry with the singer for openly siding with the ruling government despite his fellow singer Bobi Wine’s detention following the Arua by-election saga.
