Uganda’s youngest rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo popularly known by his stage name Fresh Kid is over the moon for his achievement.
However,having failed to attend the event in person,the youngster’s mother is pointing fingers once again at his father Paul Mutabazi alias Fresh Daddy for refusing to give him permission to attend the awards unless he tagged along.
The Kid rapper over the weekend brought home his first ever international award. The milestone was achieved at the 4th edition of the annual Carolina Music Video awards that took place on Saturday, July 20, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame High Octane Theater in Charlotte, California.
The 7-year-old managed to beat his counterparts like Fefe Bbusi, Lydia Jazmine, Ykee Benda, among other singers.
He had been pitted against to win the coveted Best International Music Video for his 2019 song ‘Bambi.’
“This morning I have just landed on something big I didn’t expect, I have won CMVA, I don’t know what to say coz I can’t believe it OMG, But all in all thank u lord and my beloved fans, am proud of you people.

However, most notably, Fresh Kid was not able to receive the award in person since he was not able to travel to the US.
The youngster’s mother is pointing fingers once again at his father Paul Mutabazi alias Fresh Daddy for refusing to give him permission to attend the awards unless he tagged along.
“He wants to go everywhere abroad with the kid yet people there don’t want to see him”. She lamented while speaking in an interview with NBS TV.
The Carolina Music Video awards aim at offering worldwide recognition to artists who deserve to be honored for not only their creative works but also as individuals who excel in debuting their talents through visual performance and media.
Fresh Kid also recently achieved another international milestone after holding his first performance in Dubai and UAE earlier this month.
