French Montana Reveals how much he paid for the Ghetto Kids’ Trip

American rapper French Montana, in an interview with the Vibe magazine, has revealed how much he paid for the Triplets ghetto kids’ trip to America.

The kids, it shall be remembered, performed alongside the “Unforgettable” hit maker at the 2017 BET awards on June 25, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

When asked whether he “helped all of them get visas to come here”, Montana said” Yes, of course, Almost a $100,000.”

The amount, when converted, is approximately Shs. 360,025,000 (360M).

Montana further revealed that he flew the kids out “alongside three adult chaperones.”

When asked to describe the kids, Montana said “That’s the most important part, they’re happy with nothing.”

In the same Interview, that’s currently covering the Magazine’s July issue, Montana revealed that “I’m trying to take them on tour, yeah, with The Weeknd.”

The Weeknd is an American RnB star of Zimbabwean decent.

“They deserve to be on screen. [I was] inspired to travel 30 hours to Uganda to meet them in person, to get them visas to come over here,” Montana said.

On why he took up the kids, Montana told the Magazine how “They went from dancing in the mud for food and money, to performing in front of a 100 million people.”

“That means more to me than anything”.
