American rapper French Montana on Wednesday morning hailed musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, for contributing to the well-being on Ugandans in Uganda.
Montana, the ‘Unforgettable’ hit-maker, met Bobi Wine, the Kyadondo East MP, in New York America, where he recently went to attend the Global Citizens Week as a motivational speaker.
After their brief meet, Montana took to his Twitter handle @FrencHMonTana and posted thus; “Thank you King!! Love everything you doing for the beautiful people of Uganda”.
This was in reply to Bobi Wine who had earlier twitted a photo of him shaking hands with Montana on his twitter handle @HEBobiwine, which he captioned thus;
“What a thoughtful open minded and great man @FrencHMonTanA is! You’re a champion my brother.”
The Global Citizens Week is an annual event which happens alongside the United Nations General Assembly.
It is aimed at promoting activism and giving world leaders a clear and compelling mandate to commit to ending extreme poverty by 2030.
It brings together top icons and world leaders to make commitments towards health, education, and other poverty issues.
