French Chefs Bring Fine-Dining Experience to Kampala

Two French chefs under the Kampala food network have landed in Uganda ahead of fine-dining dinner next week.

Along with other Ugandan chefs, Soula Rose and Benoit Defait from Paris, France will treat Ugandans to French traditional cuisines for two days at Amagara Café in Nakawa.

Speaking to journalists on Friday morning, Kavitha T Sserunkuma the CEO Kampala Food Network said that the dinner will help Ugandan food move to the next level.

“This cooperation between these chiefs and us means a lot, because our ingredients will also be taken to France. We need tourism and we shall do it through food.” She said

According to Chef Soula Rose, coming to Uganda will help them share their experiences with Ugandan chefs and foodies.

“We shall have three hours training with people who love cooking and they will feel the real kitchen experience. Apart from that they will also have a chance for them to taste all the recipes made.” She said.

The Fine Dinning dinner will be concluded on Tuesday and Wednesday July 29.
