Four staff members at the Bukoto based Radio Simba have been detained by security.
Police officers on Friday morning arrived at the station and surrounded it according reports.
Senior journalist Peter Kibazo said on Facebook that the station had been placed “under siege.”
The officers later on picked four members of staff and sped off.
“They wanted four of our staff members and they have been taken,” one of the employees told ChimpReports on phone.
The employee who sounded tense, declined divulge names of the arrested colleagues, saying the station was preparing to make a public communication.
The station programming also seemed to have been temporarily interrupted by the incident as by publication of this story, they were playing music nonstop.
When contacted, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Patrick Onyango said he wasn’t aware of the arrest.
