Four Perish, Six Injured In Kyenjojo Taxi Accident

At least four people have died on spot and six others were severely injured in a taxi accident along the Fort Portal-Kampala highway yesterday.

The tragic incident occurred at Rwaitera trading center, viagra buy drugs Butunduzi town council along the Kyenjojo-Kampalo road at around 7:15pm.

According to Hussan Mugerwa the Acting DPC Kyenjojo, sickness a taxi Reg.No.UAW-013G that was coming from Fort Portal knocked and killed a pedestrian instantly.

He said Taxi driver who is reportedly on the run after knocking the pedestrian, lost control and went on the right hand lane where he collided with a Noah vehicle reg.No.UAS-558R that was coming from Kampala.

The police man said that the killed pedestrian is an unidentified man possibly in his 60s.

Mugerwa said the dead could not be identified by press time and the injured were picked and rushed to Rwaitera health center by private vehicles.

The DPC disclosed that two were severely injured and rushed to Fort Portal referral hospital while four survived with minor injuries and are admitted at Kyenjojo health center.

The police attributed the cause of the accident to overspending.


The nasty accident came hardly a day after an accident involving a Link Bus that collided with a Tata lorry left three people dead and 14 others severely injured.

It happened at Bukora junction few meters to Kihura trading center in Kyenjojo district at around 7:20pm on Thursday.

The victims of the Thursday accident have been transferred to Fort Portal referral hospital. in critical condition.
