The football fraternity in Uganda has on Thursday received sad news about the death of former Cranes midfielder Johnson Bagoole.
News confirming the death of Bagoole came through in the evening indicating the 38 year old had passed on Lira Referral Hospital(Lacor).
Bagoole who has been suffering from Cryptococal Meningitis for over month had his life situation going worse every other passing day until he finally passed on.
The former central midfielder has been recently admitted at Nsambya hospital but was referred to Lira on the advise of doctors to receive further treatment.
However, he eventually passed on barely three days after get admitted in Lira.
Born and raised in Iganga district, Bagoole started his career at Iganga Town Council before moving to Express FC and URA FC.
He later played across the region in clubs like APR in Rwanda, Sofapaka in Kenya and Bukavu plus APR in Congo among others.
His abilities also saw him earn calls on the national team during the reign of Lazio Csaba and Bobby Williamson.
