Former Sports Club Villa defending kingpin Yusuf Mukisa has completed his move to Kenyan Premier League outfit Nairobi City Stars FC.
Mukisa joins newly the promoted KPL side on a two-year contract and will stay at the club until 2021/2022 season.
The development was confirmed by Nairobi City Stars team coordinator Samson Otieno via the club’s website.
“Mukisa is a utility back who is comfortable as a left, centre or right back. He is however coming in to fill the right back position vacated by Kevin Okumu. We are certain his arrival will solidify our back line. I welcome him to Simba wa Nairobi,” Otieno said.
He joins the Kenyan club from FUFA Big League side, Proline Football Club. He has also previously played for BUL FC, Vipers Sports Club as well as the Uganda U-20 National team. (Hippos)
Mukisa becomes the Fourth Ugandan to play for Nairobi City Stars after Jimmy Bageya, Bruno Sserunkuma and Daniel Sserunkuma.
The “Simba Wa Nairobi” has also signed striker Erick Ombija from Gor Mahia and defensive midfielder Sven Yidah from Kariobangi Sharks.
