Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC have unveiled former Gor Mahia Football Club center forward Juma Balinya as their latest addition to the squad.
Balinya was unveiled on Sunday night during KCCA FC show on Sanyuka TV, putting ink to dotted lines for a two-year deal.
While featuring for Police FC, Juma Balinya was the 2018/19 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season top scorer with 19 goals and earned a National team call up.
He joined Yanga SC in June 2019 on a two-year contract but had his contract terminated following the club’s failure to settle his Eight months salary arrears.
In January this year, the robust striker signed a two-year contract with Kenyan Premier League Giants Gor Mahia FC but the situation was reminiscent of his former club before he was given greenlight to leave on mutual consent.
He also had stints at Vipers SC (2011-14), AS Port from Kigali, Rwanda (2014-2015) and Lweza FC (2015-2016).
He becomes the ninth signing for the Kasassiro Boys joining Andrew Kigozi Samson, Stefano Mazengo Loro, Brian Aheebwa, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani, Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume and Dominic Ayella who was promoted from the Junior team.
