Former Miss Uganda Mwima Pens Down An Open Letter to Miss Uganda Amidst Scandal

Former Miss Uganda, Dorah Mwima has come out to offer words of advice to the currently unveiled Miss Uganda Oliver Nakakande.
In her congratulatory remarks to the beauty queen, Mwima hinted on the scandal between one of the judges, Zari Hassan and the MC Anita Fabiola that took place during the crowning ceremony leaving the country in a ‘face to Palm’ state.
“I just wanted to congratulate you and wish you a successful reign ahead. It’s unfortunate that you had to kick start your reign by witnessing fellow Women tearing each other down,” Mwima wrote.
She added, “Well, I don’t know what your “beauty with a purpose” project might be, but I believe you already got a project right there: Show us how to deal with our insecurities! Show us how to rise above our differences!.”
“Show us how to deal with the grudges that we have against each other, that together we can achieve more and we are nothing without each other! Show us that we gain nothing by being each others worst enemies, how we can support, encourage and empower each other! Show us how a ‘Queen fixes another woman’s crown’,” Mwima urged her.
This follows the beef that was exposed between Zari and Fabiola after the latter referred to the former as ‘mama’ hence sparking off a retaliation that has overshadowed the main event.
