President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, by the powers granted to him by the Constitution of Uganda, has elevated Deputy Registrar Flavia Nassuuna to a full Registrar.
This is contained in a letter signed by the President and its receipt acknowledged by the Judiciary.
“As per advice of the Judicial Service Commission, I have appointed Flavia Nasuuna Matovu as the Registrar of Judiciary,” the letter reads.
Before this elevation, Nassuuna has been under the Inspectorate of Courts where she was placed by the recent transfers.
This development has been confirmed by the Judiciary spokesperson, His Worship Jameson Karemani, “It’s true, the President has appointed her to that position and the Judiciary administration has received the appointment letter.”
