FJL: BUL Edge Kirinya in Jinja Derby

BUL Junior team earned bragging rights in the Jinja derby overcoming rivals Kirinya Jinja SS Junior team.

In the game played on Sunday at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru, BUL defeated Kirinya 2-0.

Martin Aprem and Reagan Kalyowa scored for BUL FC to condemn Kirinya to their first loss this season.

The win moves BUL FC to third while Kirinya despite the loss remained second on 7 points one behind leaders Mbarara City FC in hat trick group.

Express FC got their first win over the weekend, defeating Nyamityobora 1-0 away in Mbarara. Ismael Ssebandeke scored the lone goal.

Bright Stars and Mbarara City played out a two all draw. Tooro United also drew one all against SC Villa Jogoo.

In treble group, defending champions Vipers won 2-0 against Police Armless Brigade with Tonny Tulituka scoring a brace.
