Fixtures, Dates for CHAN Mini Invitational Tournament Confirmed

Uganda will host the Pre- CHAN Mini Invitational tournament which is aimed at preparing the above nations for the 2020 CHAN tournament in Cameroon.

Uganda will host the three-day tournament that will have invited teams like Mali and Zambia.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the dates and fixtures for the CHAN Mini Invitational tournament.

The tournament that will be played on a round robin will be held at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole between 17th – 21st March 2020 with all games scheduled to kickoff at 4PM.

Tournament hosts Uganda will kick off the tournament on the 17th of March against Zambia.

Two days later, Zambia will face off with Mali and later Uganda will play Mali on the 21st of March.

Uganda Cranes coach Jonathan McKinstry last week summoned a provisional team of 34 players that will entered the camp on Sunday, 1st March 2020.

The team entered a residential camp on Sunday and will officially start training today on Monday, 2nd March 2020 at GEMS Cambridge International School in Butabika.

Uganda is placed in group C alongside Rwanda, Togo and defending champions Morocco.
