With the FISU World University Netball Championship a few days away from throwing off, the anticipation from teams that will take part continues to grow.
The draws for the third edition of the global showpiece for Universities were held on Wednesday placing the eight confirmed nations into two groups, each with four.
Hosts Uganda were placed in pool A and will face neighbours Kenya, USA and Singapore.
The other group(Pool B) will have South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
The championship that will be hosted at Makerere University is expected to take place between 17th-22nd, September 2018.
This will be the second time that Uganda is competing at the biennial tournament with the maiden appearance coming in 2015 where Uganda finished 4th.
Uganda’s squad will be boosted with the trio of Betty Kiiza, Mary Nubu and Joan Nampungu fresh from guiding the She Cranes to 2019 Netball World Cup.
