2020 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers
Tanzania vs Uganda – National Stadium, Dar es Salaam

Uganda U17 head coach, Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has today named a squad of 18 women that has departed for the Tanzania clash on Sunday.
Uganda will play away to Tanzania in the first leg of the second round of the 2020 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The squad of 18 youthful players consists of two goalkeepers, seven defenders, four midfielders and five forwards.
The team, captained by Juliet Nalukenge travels this afternoon from Entebbe International Airport, aboard Uganda Airlines.
Tanzania hosts the first leg on Sunday before the return leg in Kampala in a fortnight’s time.
Prior to this game, Uganda played two friendly matches against Watoto Ladies team winning 11-0 before a goalless practice match against a Kampala Select side on Thursday at Lugogo.
The team travels with nine officials and three delegates, bringing the total number of the travelling contingent to thirty.
