There is been a lot of killings in Uganda over the past years with Police reports indicating Entebbe and Wakiso as the leading death zones.
Most of the victims get threats before they are attacked and the latest death claims were sent to singer Jose Chameleone who says that he has been receiving several death threats.
Chameleone claims he has been receiving death threats from someone calling himself a General and using an MTN Number +256 778 935 68,registered under the names of Jenifer Maniraduha.
“I have been receiving threats from +256 778 935 681, this person calling himself General, I first received a message on the 10th September at 6:16pm.Where they demanded for 5,000,000 Shillings or I get killed.
I ignored the requests and just again today at 9:17pm they are back asking me to send mobile money of 8,000,000 shillings.”
The Valu Valu hitmaker said that he has already alerted the Police about the threats
“I already made my police reports and hope the Uganda Police and security can apprehend such goons that are getting at large.
We have had a lot of killings and I am not carrying this lightly. Whosoever is behind this, the public and authority is now aware,” he posted.
On the other hand,a one Kojja Omugezi on Facebook threatened to teach Bebe Cool a lesson for having being at the forefront of NRM’s victory in the Hoima by-elections which he termed as the singer’s worst mistake.
Kojja Omugezi in the post says that he will kill Bebe Cool’s mother since he has already figured out her physical address.
While reacting to Kojja’s threats, Bebe Cool who seems not scared at all, said that all those threats from opposition supporters will not at any point in time be effective.
“Threatening me won’t work, my mother is over 70 and she has seen it all. You causing harm to her won’t make me support your ideas or cause. Uganda’s opposition supporters think they will threaten their way to leadership, wish you luck.”
He also added that, “This man is an ex ADF rebel in Uganda who got asylum in Ireland, now sending threats to a Ugandan mother.
You are so weak to a level that you now resorting to threatening women and children. As for me, I will wait for the next assignment/by-election and work, results will speak again.”
