FDC Candidates Advised to Acknowledge NRM Success to Win Voters’ Hearts

Uganda Cranes have been eliminated from the 2016 Chan tournament following a one all draw with Zimbabwe on Wednesday at the Umuganda stadium in Gisenyi.

Mbarara Deputy RDC Mr. Emmy Kateera has advised Forum for the Democratic Change and other opposition party candidates to try to acknowledge the accomplishments of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) if they want to win the hearts of voters.

Kateera said that if the FDC party leaders wanted to be trusted into office by voters especially in the western district, http://cqaireland.com/wp-admin/includes/comment.php they ought to first show appreciation of what the NRM has so far managed to do in the last 30years.

He added that his responsibility as the RDC is to unite all people of the district irrespective of their party affiliation.

“I am opening an NRM office here, but if the FDC members invited to open up their own somewhere else I wouldn’t hesitate,” he said.

“This area adopted its name back in the 1980s from the crime infested Kisenyi slum of Kampala, but today, it has been transformed by the NRM into a safe and steadily developing area in Mbarara town,” he said.

Kateera asked the people in the area to use the new office to resolve issues and family disputes in the area before forwarding them to the RDC’s office, adding that it is open to everyone.

He said that the same office should be used to give reports on where service delivery has failed.

The function was attended by Parliamentary and Local Council NRM flag bearers in Mbarara district.
