Bumate United Vs Kabale Sharp – Christ High School play-ground, Bundibugyo

Wakiso Giants secured their first win this season last week with a comfortable 3-0 win against Kataka FC.
The win came in their first game at home( Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe) after making two fruitless outings.
The opening two games for the Purple Sharks ended in stalemates, first with a two all draw away to Amuka Bright Light before a one all draw against JMC Hippos at Kakindu stadium.
Ahead of their fourth game, the target for Ibrahim Kirya’s charges will be to try and secure maximum points on the road.
Kirya is optimistic the team will be able to garner all three points at Emokori grounds on Thursday.
” The team is in good shape, we have been training well and we come into this game after winning our last game which gives us confidence going into the game.” He said.
Skipper Feni Ali, defender Hassan Dazo and Ibrahim ‘Kaloolo’ Kiweewa were on target last week and will hope to replicate a similar performance this Thursday.
Steven Bengo and injured Suleiman Jjingo are not part of the squad that travelled to Bukedia.
Bukedia on the other hand come into the game with no head coach after Bashir Kalungi was sacked at the start of this week.
Assistant coach Peter Ongodia is therefore expected to take on the mantle as caretaker manager.
Bukedia are yet to win this season managing just a point(against Kataka FC) in the three games they have played in Elgon group.
In the same group, Dove All Stars FC who lost to Light SS in their last game will return to action at home(Green Light stadium) against Nebbi Central in the West Nile derby.
Nebbi’s previous game ended in a goalless draw at home against Entebbe FC.
Wounded Kataka FC will seek resuscitation against Alex Isabirye’s Kyetume FC while JMC Hippos will be at home against UPDF FC.
The Hippos are without skipper Crespo Patrick Asiku who is in Kenya for trials.
In Rwenzori group, Kansai Plascon under the tutorship of Angelo Lonyensi visit new comers Kiboga Young, Water FC will host Kitara FC while Kira United take on winless Ntinda United.
Dove FC will be at home(Katusabe stadium) in Masindi against Kireka United as Kabale Sharp make a trip to Bundibugyo to take on Bumate FC.
