Shafiq Bisaso is content with Proline FC’s goalless draw against Kiboga Young on Thursday in Kiboga.
The team needed to pick a win or draw to maintain their top of the Rwenzori table status.
The draw lifted them just a point above Kansai Plascon who are on form and firing on all cylinders.
“We came with two strategies: one was to avoid conceding a goal. We were successful in that but we failed in our second- which was to try and, at least, score a goal,” Bisaso revealed his plans prior to the game.
He added that, “Otherwise, we are content with the result because we played one of the strongest teams contending for promotion.”
Proline’s next assignment is against the painters at the StarTimes stadium in Lugogo.
The soft-speaking coach, however, believes the pressure is on their opponents who will need to win the game to go top with only one match to play.
“They will come looking for a win while we want only a draw. Secondly, we shall be playing at home so we have that upper hand in achieving our objective,” he added.
