FBL: Kiboga Young Stun Proline FC in  Lugogo

Kiboga Young continued with their fairytale run in the FUFA Big League with yet another remarkable performance on Thursday.

The league debutants who have surprised many once again put up a good display to edge Proline FC 2-1 at StarTimes stadium Lugogo.

The game was a top of the table clash in Rwenzori group with Proline FC coming into the encounter as leaders on 18 points, one ahead of Kiboga Young.

However, at the end of the game officiated by FIFA Referee Brian Miiro Nsubuga, the visitors had picked maximum results condemning Proline FC to its first loss this season.

Brian Mugume and Isaac Otto scored a goal each for Kiboga Young while second half substitute Ismail Kabugu got Proline’s consolation.

In the other games played in Rwenzori group, Kabale Sharp edged Ntinda United 1-0 while Kansai Plascon eased past Kireka United winning 3-1.

In Elgon group, Wakiso Giants maintained their grip at the top with a 2-0 win against Nebbi Central FC. Kyetume FC moved to second place with a 2-0 win over Light SS while Bukedea TC and Entebbe FC settlef for a one all draw.
