Kansai Plascon and Kabale Sharp will battle for the top spot in Rwenzori group as the two teams face off on Thursday in Mukono.
Kabale Sharp in second place on nine points have a chance to go top if they win. They will go above current leaders Proline FC(10 points) who are not in action until Monday when they take on Kireka United.
Plascon under the tutorship of Angelo Lonyensi also can go top from sixth position if they win with a two goal margin and move to ten points same as Proline FC.
Kabale Sharp coached by Vialli Bainomugisha were held to a goalless draw at home last week by new comers Kiboga Young.
Kiboga Young who have had a good start and currently 4th on eight points take on a revamped Kitara FC who are also on eight points.
Kitara FC outwitted Bumate 4-1 last week and also have a chance to go top if they win against Kiboga Young and Kansai Plascon and Kabale Sharp fail to win.
The other game in Rwenzori group will see struggling Bumate FC who are yet to pick a point and bottom on the table take on Ntinda United in Bundibugyo.
In Elgon group, surprise table leaders Light SS from Amuria district have a chance to stretch their lead at the summit as they visit Kataka FC in Mbale.
Light SS are fresh from a 2- 0 win against JMC Hippos and will hope to take the same momentum as they take on Kataka FC.
Doves All Stars who drew one all against Entebbe FC last week will be at home against JMC Hippos, UPDF FC take on Bukedea TC while Entebbe FC host Amuka Bright Stars FC.
