Action in the FUFA Big League resumes this Thursday with eight games on card across different grounds.

Key among them will involve table leaders Wakiso Giants and Proline FC who are top in Rwenzori and Elgon group respectively.

Proline FC under the stewardship of coach Shafik Bisaso have made the daunting trip to Bundibugyo to face Bumate FC.

Bumate FC who nearly played promotional playoffs last season have been a shadow of themselves this campaign winning just one game in eight.

The poor performance has seen them languish in the drop zone currently second from bottom with just three points.

On the other hand, Proline FC have had a flying start in their bid to return to top flight football. The Lugogo based side have picked 16 points out of the possible 18.The only draw they have came on match day one away to Kitara FC.

Additionally, the team has scored 17 goals in six games more than any other team across the two groups.

In Rwenzori group, money bags Wakiso Giants will be seeking to maintain their unbeaten run as they face debutants Light SS who have had a fairytale start so far.

The Purple Sharks lead the group on twelve points same as second placed Doves All Stars but the former has a better goal difference and a game in hand.

Dove All Starts game against JMC Hippos was postponed due to Uganda Cup engagements due this weekend just like Nebbi Central vs Bukedea game.

Light SS is third just a point below the log leaders and come into this clash on the back of a 2-1 loss to Bukedea Town Council which was their first loss of the season.

Entebbe FC who drew one all against JMC Hippos will host Kataka FC while wounded UPDF FC who take on Kyetume FC.
