Fally Ipupa to Revive ‘Soukous’ Music at Uganda Concerts

When was the last time you listened to soukous Music or saw a soukous artist perform? Well, that will all be answered right here in Uganda as Fally Ipupa revives the music.

The Congolese singer is set to preach the Soukous gospel in Uganda with not just one, but two music concerts starting with Kampala.

Ipupa together with his 25-man band will be shutting down Uganda in two concerts, one in Kampala and another in Arua.

Speaking during the Press conference held at Mestil Hotel, Brian, a UBL representative said that, “we never disappoint our customers when it comes to the events that we are involved in.”

The Kampala concert will be held in December 13th at Cricket Oval and will then head for the ‘Johnnie Walker’ concert in Arua on the 15th of December.

Marcus Kwikiriza, GM Next Radio noted that “Ipupa is such a darling in Congo who has nurtured many talents mostly in Soukous music.”

“He has done a lot in raising the flag high for Soukous music artists.”

He added that partiers will have the value for their money as the singer promises to do live performance for four hours and nothing short than that.

In the Kampala show, he will be joined by other singers including; Vampino, Carol Kasita and Cindy among others.
