Express Football Club has continued to reinforce it’s armory with player thorough recruitment process and promoting graduates to the senior team as the 2020/2021 season nears.
The latest addictions to the team’s squad are four players that have been promoted from Express FC Junior Team.
These include Kevin Ssekimbega, Desmond Kanene, Sadat Mugenyi and Derrick Lubega Mulumba.
Goalkeeper Mugenyi will serve as an understudy to the experienced Mathias Muwanga.
Desmond Kanene had initially featured on the senior team but will now have a permanent stay while Lubega is an attacking midfielder who can play on either wing.
Kevin Ssekimbega is a right back who has had stints with the Uganda Cubs (U-17) and will boost the club’s defence while Mugenyi previously captained the Express U-19 team.
The four additions join other new names at the club in Isaac Nsengiyunva, Yaya Mahad Kakooza, Dennis Otim and Abel Etrude.
Other new signings at Wankulukuku include, Crispus Kusiima, Mustafa Kiragga, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Richard Bbosa and Baker Sakah, bringing the total new faces at the club to 13.
