Two weeks ago, viagra http://d4462130.u92.platformpublishing.com.au/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/forms_model.php friends and relatives of NTV news anchor intensified preparations for her introduction ceremony in Masaka Town.
The compound was swept clean. Food was procured. And decorators were handsomely paid.
Nakazibwe’s family members monitored their weight to fit in their suits on the D-day.
The Mwasuze Mutya presenter was in high spirits, information pills http://davepoulin.ca/wp-content/themes/divi/includes/builder/class-et-global-settings.php waiting for the moment she would see her family endorse her marriage with her Oman-based boyfriend Dr Omar Ssali.
“She was visibly excited ahead of the much-anticipated event,” recalls a friend who preferred anonymity so as to speak freely, adding, “her face was beaming with joy and blessedness.”
“However, Nakazibwe was so secretive during her preparations to avoid the eye of the media and attracting undue attention from her former lover, Moses Kigongo,” the pal added.
Nakazibwe had a short-lived relationship with the powerful and stinking wealthy NRM Deputy Chairman Al Hajji Kigongo.
The romance blossomed at a time when Kigongo (in his late 60s) was fighting off a widely-publicised divorce case lodged by his wife Olive Kigongo at Kampala High Court.
Kigongo’s bond with Nakazibwe touched off a firestorm on social media with many accusing her of ‘grabbing’ Olive’s husband.
Conservatives argued that Nakazibwe should not have dated a man twice her age.
But liberals said Nakazibwe, a mother of two, retained the right to pursue happiness even if it meant dating the elderly Kigongo.
In an interview with The Observer, Nakazibwe was asked: “Well, there has been this talk about your relationship with [NRM historical and vice chairman] Hajji Moses Kigongo; people are saying you broke up his marriage with Olive…”
She responded: “People say sijui he is divorcing his wife because he met someone else. But when I got there, I was told there was nothing between the two of them. I don’t like to talk about this…All I know is that they are in court and I am hoping that they work it out in a way that leaves both parties satisfied. I don’t intrude into their matters because … I think I am happy when they are happy [really?] In fact, I don’t mind her staying around, but that is for them to decide.”
Nakazibwe would later quit the relationship with Kigongo.
Friends say the parting was acrimonious especially after Kigongo’s close relatives warned the news anchor of serious consequences for ruining the politically powerful man’s marriage.
Nakazibwe, who attended Taibah High School in Kawempe, Ttula before graduating with a Degree in Mass Communication from Islamic University, Mbale, would later fall in love with Dr Umar.
The duo has been dating for over a year.
This past Saturday (October 8, 2016), Nakazibwe had planned to introduce Dr Umar before her family.
However, sources have told ChimpReports that the function was cancelled at the last minute.
“We were ready to move on Saturday morning for the function but she tearfully told us to cancel our journey,” said a close buddy.
“We were informed that a marriage ceremony could not take place under a climate of fear. There was heavy deployment in Masaka ahead of the function,” another source added.
Dr Umar who was already in Uganda immediately returned to Oman.
Efforts to reach Nakazibwe or Kigongo for comment were unsuccessful on Monday.
It shall be noted that ChimpReports investigations desk is yet to obtain evidence showing Kigongo used his political clout to intimidate the couple.
However, it is widely speculated that Kigongo has invested a lot of money in Nakazibwe to let her go just like that.
“Nakazibwe is heartbroken. Her life is shattered. No one wants such a thing to happen to her,” a family member told this website on Monday morning.
