Former FC Barcelona football legend Ronaldo de Assis Moreira better known as Ronaldinho Gaucho will be visiting East Africa-Kenya to be specific ahead of local football league finals this weekend.
According to reports, the icon will be in the country on Friday November 9 as the chief guest at the super8 Champion’s League finals.
The league is a grassroots football competition spearheaded by extreme sports limited in partnership with a gaming firm that named him their brand ambassador.
Ronaldinho will thereafter grace a grass roots football match in Kisumu County, mentor upcoming footballers.
Often considered one of the best players of his generation and regarded by many as one of the greatest of all time, Ronaldinho won two FIFA World Player of the Year awards and a Ballon d’Or.
He was renowned for his technical skills and creativity; due to his agility, pace and dribbling ability, as well as his use of tricks, feints, overhead kicks, no-look passes and accuracy from free-kicks.
