Erias Sserunjogi Appointed New Express Vice President

In a bid to rekindle the lost glory of one of the oldest football club in the Uganda, page Express FC has appointed Erias “Kamdas” Sserunjogi as the new vice president in charge of administration.

Club chairperson, this site Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi together with the club executive appointed Sserunjogi to help on the day to day running of the club given the busy schedule of the club chairperson who also doubles as the State Minister for youth and Children affairs.

The veteran administrator returns to Wankulukuku with vast experience having been at the club in the glory days (1990s). Sserunjogi was in charge of administration when the club reached its heights in 1995 playing up to the semifinals of the CAF champions league.

While addressing the players on Tuesday at Wankulukuku, treatment Sserunjogi vowed to serve the red eagles and ensure that the club restores her lost pride.

“I promise to serve Express to my best ability. I have been here before, so I believe the experience I have will help us work together as a team and see that we dominate the local scene again,” he said.

Nakiwala who took the reigns at Express as the chairperson of the club replacing Bbale Mugera has appointed various people to work with at the club.

Among them include pastor Samuel Kakande of the Synagogue church of all nations who was appointed the first vice president of the club, John Kitenda was appointed the head of club treasury while popular musician Bobi Wine is the club’s brand ambassador.
