Entebbe International Airport Aviation Security commandant Caleb Mwesigye has passed on.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima confirmed the sad news in a Tuesday morning telephone interview with ChimpReports.
“Yes, it’s true, he is dead,” said Kayima.
“I understand he was unwell for some time,” he added.
Kayima, however, referred this website to his boss AIGP Asan Kasingye for details.
Kasingye was not readily available for comment.
It’s understood Mwesigye was admitted at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala for several weeks before his death on Tuesday.
The cause of the death will be established by a postmortem, according to police officials.
The deceased’s friends described him as “amiable” and “hardworking.”
