The hotly contested presidential and general parliamentary elections will be held on Thursday January 14, 2021.
The above process began with the parking of polling materials on December 26, 2020, that followed the timely delivery of both generic materials, ballot papers and the National voters’ register.
This was followed by the flagging off and dispatch of polling kits to all districts across the country on January 6, 2021.
While dispatching polling materials from the Electoral Commission warehouse in Banda, Kampala, the Commission Chairman Justice Simon Byabakama assured all the stakeholders that materials would reach in time.
“The Commission assures all stakeholders that all districts/ cities across the country will have received their polling kits in time for the above cycle of elections,” he said.
