Eddy Kenzo Named Cultural Ambassador in US

Singer Eddy Kenzo real name Edrisa Musuza keeps counting his blessings as he has been named the cultural ambassador by the United States congress.

The honor was conferred to him during the start of the West Indian American Day Carnival 2019 that took place on Thursday August 29 in Brooklyn New York.

The annual festival which is now in its 52nd edition is a 4-day event, which celebrates Caribbean culture, arts and music.

Amidst his break up with his longtime Girlfriend Rema Namakula,the 2015 BET award winner expressed his gratitude towards such a huge appointment.

This is not the first time the ‘Sitya Loss’ hitmaker being named a foreign country’s ambassador. In 2017, Kenzo was appointed the tourism ambassador of Kenya with the Kenya Tourism Board chief executive Dr Betty Adero Radier saying he was appointed because of his huge social media influence and the fact that Uganda contributes a high number of tourists in Kenya.

A year later, the singer was also appointed the tourism ambassador of Uganda, tasked with the responsibility to promote the country’s tourism industry.
