Eddy Kenzo Apologizes to Kasuku, Enemies Ahead of 10 Years Concert

Edrisa Musuuza better known as Eddy Kenzo, one of the prominent Ugandan artists has called upon his fans and well-wisher to join him celebrate making ten (10) years in music.

He will hold a concert to mark this milestone early next year, 4 January 2019 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

In a press briefing held this morning, Thursday 22 November, 2018, at Serena Hotel-Kampala, Kenzo expressed joy at having made a decade in industry he described as ‘challenging and competitive musical field’ from which he has been able to be among the most recognizable singers on the African continent.

“At the show on 4 January 2019, we are going to hold at Serena Hotel, it will not be the same as the usual shows but I will be taking you through my 10 years journey” Kenzo said.

The BET award winner also confessed that remaining at the top after breaking through is just as hard.

“Break through is not a simple task but even maintaining it at the top is not simple because the pioneers of the industry lacked what it takes to keep them in the business.”

Kenzo based on this to thank his long time sponsors of Airtel Uganda who have stood with him for the last four years.

Isaac ‘Kasuku’ Katende was beaten by Kenzo a few years back

At the press briefing, Kenzo apologized to the media and all he has wronged countrywide before calling upon them to bury the hatchet.

It should be remembered that a few years back Kenzo roughed up scribe Isaac Katende better known as Kasuku at a press conference at Centenary Park.

Though he did not mention names, it is believed that the apology could have been directed towards Kasuku.

“I am no longer a mere artist in the business but a big brand for Uganda and in case anything bad happens to me, it’s a big blow to the nation at large” Kenzo says.

The singer also announced that he is currently in partnership with a company to start manufacturing clothes and shoes which are expected to hit the Ugandan market very soon.

On his Soccer Academy, Kenzo revealed that he came up with that idea to use the connections he has to promote talents.
