Most artistes do concerts whenever they feel they have penetrated the music industry or gained much audience and followership for their music and brands.
Well, that is not the case with singer Edrisa Musuuza better known as Eddy Kenzo, who believes he is an international artiste and should not put up ordinary concerts like the rest.
Kenzo has February 18, 2020 announced his music festival which will be happening come March 28 at Kololo Airstrip.
While addressing Journalists Tuesday morning at Kati Kati restaurant, Kenzo revealed that most of the times it’s only some of the big International artists who are invited to perform at Kololo Airstrip and the venue fills up.
He assured the fans and music lovers that he will, this time round, fill Kololo Airstrip to capacity since he is an international artist himself though living in Uganda.
“They always say that any artist in Uganda who challenges me is greater and the truth is, I am still the greatest,” he said.
He rallied fans and music lovers to attend the festival come March 28, 2020 so as to witness why he is dominating Uganda and Africa as a whole.
Kenzo also announced that the festival, which will start as early as 8:00 AM will see most of the Ugandan top singers perform during the show including Bobi Wine, Chameleone, Afrigo Band and Bebe Cool among others.
After the Kololo festival, he will perform in Mbale and then head to Agip Motel in Mbarara among others.
The star has new hits including ‘Semyekozo’ and ‘Tweyagale’ that have dominated Radio and TV airwaves all over the country putting him on top of the rest. Going by that fact, YouTube has ranked him number one artiste in Uganda followed by Rema and John Blaq among others.
